About Us

Pontiac-Waterford Elks Lodge No. 810 has been a well respected organization in South-Eastern Michigan since 1902.  Our Lodge is proud to be comprised of over 1,000 members.  Pontiac-Waterford #810 is nestled among the trees at 2100 Scott Lake Road on 17 acres. Originally located on Orchard Lake Road in the city of Pontiac, a new Lodge was built after purchasing property in nearby suburban Waterford in the late 1980’s.  In addition to our Lodge building, we have a Pavilion which can hold 125+ people.  We also have a pole barn which houses all of our lawn maintenance equipment, a mobile home which we use for storage, and a gazebo which is often the sight for weddings held at our Scott Lake Banquet Center, located inside the Lodge building.  Membership in our Lodge not only lets you use our wonderful facilities, it also grants you entry into one of the finest Fraternal Organizations in the country and enables you to visit any Elks Lodge in the country.  The opportunities for participation include becoming an officer or Trustee, committee work on a variety of committees and enjoying the hospitality and camaraderie of the Lodge family and facilities.

We offer several camper hookups and are always so pleased to see familiar faces returning to share our hospitality summer after summer.  We offer a full service restaurant 6 days a week for lunch and dinner.  Our wait staff and kitchen staff are always eager to accommodate you and your guests.  If you have any questions during your visit, please feel free to ask your server, speak to the manager on duty or any Lodge Officer who may be present.

The Elks exist to follow the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America also serves people and communities through benevolent programs.  We seek to bring in to our Order only those who delight in wholesome associations with congenial companions, men and women who possess a deep sense of patriotism, fair play and dedication to noble causes.  We pledge no advancement of personal or career ambitions; instead we vow to help each other become better and happier persons.  We believe in not merely wishing others well, but manifesting this belief by deeds, seeking to serve rather than to be served.  We measure character by what one is and does, not by titles or position.  We do not seek to impose different beliefs in place of personal commitments to God, Family, or Country, nor do we ask anyone to act in any manner contrary to the dictates of conscience.  We do not permit religious or political differences to intrude into our organizational considerations at the local, district, state or national levels.  Although we are very fortunate to have a very interactive social aspect in our organization, most importantly The Elks exists to offer aid and relief to our charities.

The first step to becoming active with the Pontiac-Waterford Elks is to become a member.  For more information on how to join the B.P.O.E.:
